Star Academy celebrated ‘Family Day’ by inviting families to participate in an evening of food, fun, and inspiration.  Tyler Collymore from ‘United Play’ was inspirational talking to us about how to ‘change the world’ one step at a time.  ‘Did you recycle something today?… Did you stand up to a bully today?… Did you turn off the lights today? Then you helped the world be a better place today’.  Tyler ran activities from United Play’s gamebook and inspired Star families to get involved.  Star’s Five Pillars of Learning, Academic, Social, Global, Emotional and Physical, shape were met on this interactive evening.  Star Families had a great time building our community and having fun together.
