Bonhomme visits Star Academy!

Bonhomme made a special appearance at Star Academy for our Winter Carnaval last week!  He was thrilled with the French Canadian lunch, including homemade Tourtiere!  Bonhomme arrived just as our French assembly was winding down, stayed for lots of pictures, and even joined in for some of the special activities.  After he handed out special Maple cookies, Bonhomme led students …

Family Night at Star!

Paralympian Tyler MacGregor visited Star Academy as a part of our ‘Family Night’ activities.  Tyler told his story, shared his Olympic Medal and World Cup Rings, and impressed our parents, students, and staff with his story of perseverance and commitment.  We wish Tyler all the best in Pyeongchang as a member of Canada’s Sledge Hockey team for his second time!  …
