Canadian Poet Doyali Islam visits Star Academy

Terry Fox Run at Star Academy

Star Academy students participated in the Terry Fox School Run on Friday, September 28th. Children aged 3 to 13 ran alongside teachers, wearing badges to show their support for Terry and others who have fought cancer. Art Crawl Showcase at Star!

Our first Art Crawl was full of fun and surprises!  Art samples from Kindergarten to Grade 8 were on display:  sculpture and weaving, painting and pastels, paper making and more.  In addition, creative sides were shown with coding, music, dance and drama.  Students walked parents through the event explaining work and demonstrating how to activate QR codes to access interviews, …
